The assignment in Bosnia and Hercegovina was developed in collaboration with our partners at the university of Sarajevo, professor Elša Turkušić and Aida Lizde.
It consisted in an integral proposal for the adaptation or rebuilding of a neighbourhood market building built in Dobrinja, a neighbourhood built in the 80’s for the winter Olympic winter games. The new program included both the market and social services.
The students were required to consider the three aspects of design, engineering and execution within the new context, while giving the neighbourhood a new multifunctional heart. Professor Elša Turkušić and Aida Lizde were involved in the opening and end presentations of the assignment.
