Embedded Librarians
The library as a partner of educationThe embedded librarians of the library work closely with education. They are (when possible) on site to offer help to teachers and students. By being "embedded" in the schools, they know what is going on and can offer support in an accessible manner.
Support
How can the embedded librarians help you?Information literacy in the curriculum
Embedded librarians work with teachers to design lessons that make students of all grades more proficient in finding, assessing, and processing information.
Developing digital learning materials
Together with the collection specialists and the advisors of the library, the embedded librarians create online training courses in information literacy and desk research, which students can follow independently. Are you a teacher interested in digital learning materials that contribute to your (research) lessons? We would be happy to discuss the possibilities with you.
Support with literature research
Researchers and (prospective-) PhD students receive support from the embedded librarians in performing literature research. Also graduates can be helped on their way by the embedded librarians.
