    Installing EndNote

    on your own Windows device

    In order to install EndNote on Windows you need to unpack the zip archive you downloaded first.

    Installation procedure

    1. Download the zip archive
    2. Go to the folder where you stored the zip file, click on it with the right mousebutton and choose "Extract All...".
    3. Go to the newly created folder that contains EN21Inst.msi and License.dat.
    4. Doubleclick on EN21Inst.msi to install EndNote. After installation you can install the .msp file for the latest update.

    Do you have to enter a license code? Then you haven't followed the instructions above. It's not possible to install EndNote by starting the installation program directly from the zip file.
