Students from all countries except EU/EEA countries and Switzerland who wish to attend an exchange programme at Rotterdam UAS for more than 3 months are obliged to obtain a residence permit.
For an up to date overview of the permit/visa requirements, please contact the international office at your home university as they have received this overview from us by email.
Please note that students with a non-EU/non-EEA nationality are required to show €958 for each month they study at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and have two options to do so:
- By transferring the amount to the school’s bank account
- By showing a scholarship award letter

Our colleagues from team Student Support (permit/visa department within Rotterdam UAS) will contact the accepted exchange students with a non-EU/non-EEA nationality within 3 weeks after the application period. We kindly ask you to wait for their email. You do not have to start with the permit/visa application procedure yet.
