Dr. Michiel de Ronde regularly publishes about working with play and narrative methods to promote playfulness in organisations and to create a space for reflection for professionals. On this topic he was awarded his doctorate cum laude in 2015. It is his ambition to use playful forms to make issues that are difficult to put into words in work and mutual collaboration negotiable. Within Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, he makes an important contribution to the programme 'quality of education and study success' on the basis of this counselling philosophy.

Michiel de Ronde is a professor who works on the further development of the Human and Organisational Behaviour field of study. How can counsellors contribute at the individual level to the integration of person and profession and what can they do at the team and organisational level to promote mutual learning (horizontally and vertically)? With his lectorate, De Ronde wants to contribute to the humanisation of organised life. He works closely with the Master's in Human and Organisational Behaviour Studies (Institute of Social Study Programmes).
