To enter the part-time Master programme Shipping & Transport you must meet the following requirements:
Please note: this programme is for EU students & Non-EU students. Non-EU students that apply must already have a valid Dutch residence permit to be accepted to the programme.
Students with a Bachelor degree from an accredited university in the Benelux
- An Engineering, Shipping, Logistics or Business related Bachelor Degree.
- Curriculum Vitae and motivation letter.
An applicant with a non-related bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years related work experience, with an additional mandatory interview can qualify for direct entry into one of the Master's Programmes.
Students with a foreign diploma
- An Engineering, Shipping, Logistics or Business related Bachelor Degree.
- IELTS academic: 6.5 (no more than 2 IELTS sub-scores may be a maximum of 0.5 points below the required overall score of 6.5) / TOEFL iBT: 90 TOEFL iBT Home Edition:90 ("My best scores" are not accepted) / Cambridge CAE: C 180-184 | FCE: A 180-184 & B 176-179 (Exam results can’t be older than two years at start of the study programme)
- Curriculum Vitae and motivation letter.
An applicant with a non-related bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years related work experience with an additional mandatory interview can qualify for direct entry into one of the Master's Programmes.
You are only exempt for the English language test if:
- you have an NVAO accredited degree
- your degree is demonstrably taught entirely in English and has been obtained in the following countries: Australia, Canada (with the exception of the French-speaking regions), Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and USA.
Please be aware, due to the ongoing Coronavirus we are aware that taking the English test has become difficult for many students. Therefore we also accept on this moment the TOEFL IBT Home test. If you use this test, please submit your over-all score. 'My Best Scores' are not accepted. The TOEFL IBT Home edition is accepted for the September 2023 intake. We can not guarantee that this test will also be accepted for future intakes.
