My student assistence

Are you looking for personal guidance or do you want to talk with an advisor one-to-one? At the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences we offer students several options. You may prefer to discuss some topics with a fellow student, other topics with someone from another study programme, and yet other subjects with your Study Coach.

Study Coach

Do you have a question about your study programme, study progress, or is something going on in class, or with your teacher? Contact your Study Coach.

Student counsellor

Is something going on in your life that is influencing your studies? Or perhaps it isn’t going so well with you or your study progress? Talk to the student counsellor who can help you. Together you will find out how you can best continue studying.

Student Welfare Advisors

Sometimes you can get stuck because of personal circumstances. The Student Welfare Advisors will help you in the right direction so you can continue studying.

Study programme advisor

Are you having some doubts about your current study programme or did you already stop? At RUAS we have study programme advisors available who can give you individual support in choosing your study.

Peer coach

Are you looking for a peer coach who can help you with that tricky course? Or to help you plan your activities? Are you looking for another student who is also coping with a disability, or is, for example, an informal carer as you are? A peer coach is always willing to help out.

Confidential counsellor

Have you found yourself in a situation when you are experiencing undesirable behaviour, for example, bullying, sexual intimidation, discrimination, and aggression. Do you find yourself in such a situation? If so, visit our confidential counsellor. The confidential counsellor has the ‘duty of secrecy’ and will always handle your information confidentially.
