DigiD

DigiD is short for Digital Identification. With DigiD you identify yourself when making use of online government services, educational institutions, healthcare organisations, etc.

About DigiD

DigiD consist of a username and password. Your DigiD is private, so do not share your username, password or PIN with anyone else.

Applying for a DigiD

You can apply for a DigiD through the DigiD website. You will need a citizen service number (BSN) and Dutch mobile telephone number for the application. The application is free of charge.
