What can you use it for?
an overview of featuresThe library offers a large number of databases. Some are general, while others specialize in a specific subject. Through START, you can search almost all of these databases simultaneously.
With START, you can:
- Find all of the library's textbooks and journals.
- Search dozens of databases at the same time.
- Reserve textbooks (via Rotterdam University WorldCat).
- Save search results to your personal account.
- Search in AI mode (natural language search) to orient yourself without having to create complex search queries.
General tips
for more relevant search results- Use the "Natural language" toggle for the AI search mode. This allows you to ask questions like: how does greenery improve urban well-being? Your question will then be converted into a search query by Claude Haiku. It will also be translated to English if necessary .
- Pay attention to the automatic search suggestions and completions; they help you find the exact title of a book more quickly.
- Use the All filters button to narrow down your results. This also allows you to limit your book search to a specific library location.
