Students from all countries except EU/EEA countries and Switzerland who wish to attend an exchange programme at Rotterdam UAS for more than 3 months are obliged to obtain a residence permit.

Please note that students with a non-EU/non-EEA nationality are required to show €1.095,00 for each month they study at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and have two options to do so:
- By transferring the amount to the school’s bank account
- By showing a scholarship award letter

Within two weeks after you have received the official letter of acceptance from us, you will receive an email from SSC (Student Service Center) with login details for Osiris, our registration system. This email will also contain information about the visa application process for non-EU students. In addition, team Student Support will host a webinar about the visa application procedure. We strongly recommend you to attend this webinar. If you still have questions after attending the webinar and reading the available information Permits & Visa, you can send them an email: coia-studentsupport@hr.nl. They apply for the Dutch visa permits on behalf of the incoming exchange students and will be able to assist.
