About
I hold a degree in business administration with a specialisation in environmental management from the Rotterdam School of Management/Erasmus Universiteit. I have over fifteen years of experience in sustainability throughout the APAC region and as a lecturer at Rotterdam Business School in Rotterdam.
I have been trained and mentored by a Dutch multinational company that is the leader in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index. Here I worked in the APAC Sales and Marketing Department as the commercial arm of their sustainability strategy. Prior to this role I founded and managed the Marinedream Foundation and developed ocean conservation and education programmes throughout Asia. From April 2013 until August 2015 I was the lead sustainability consultant at IndofoodAgri to support development of strategy, programmes, capacity building and GRI reports. IndofoodAgri is the agricultural (palm oil, rubber, sugar, tea, cacao) and edible oil division under the Indofood Group.
Currently I am working as a lecturer in sustainability at the Rotterdam Business School.
Having worked in both the NGO and private sector I have an intricate understanding of how to negotiate between the various parties to create a successful outcome for all involved.
