Rotterdam Business School Education Diplomacy Initiative

On May 13, 2015, Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences' Dean Cees van der Kraan, together with Ms. Angelien Sanderman (member of the board of directors of the RUAS) and Ms. Enny Kraaijveld (Director of the Center for International Affairs of the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences) hosted a lunch seminar for international partners of Rotterdam Business School: more than 20 Ambassadors and 40 other representatives of Embassies in the Netherlands attended the meeting. During the meeting, the RBS Education Diplomacy Initiative was launched: an effort to stimulate partnerships within academia-business-government helix.

The RBS Education Diplomacy Initiative aims to provide a framework for multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural international exchange of knowledge, ideas, and experience for the advancement of education. Objective of the initiative is to build a context, with international partner's highest representatives, for collaborations which would assure sustainable future for our students, via the top quality international business education.

The event was also used as an opportunity to express gratitude to existing international partners of RBS and to sign firs new partnership agreement with the Embassy of Denmark.
