Trial Study: Chinese lesson

China is one of the largest countries in the world. When it comes to business, China is the world’s second-largest economy and the biggest exporter. A lot of international companies, such as Huawei and Alibaba, are Chinese. When it comes to the language, there are a lot of different dialects that are spoken in China. The language that you will learn at Rotterdam Business School, if you choose Chinese as your foreign language, will be Mandarin. This is also the official language of China and the most widely spoken native language in the world, with 1.2 billion speakers worldwide.

In this video, our lecturer Jing Cai teaches you some greetings and sentences which you can use in China on a daily basis. Jing will also take you through the importance of pronunciation and grammar. If you choose Chinese as your foreign language, you will also learn business related words and sentences.
