About
After finishing my MSc in Business Economics at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, I worked for a global shipping company for several years in various countries. Thereafter I continued my career at a large Australian mining company responsible for global logistics and international commodity trading.
Currently, I share my time between lecturing Port & Maritime Management at the RBS and working for a company that implements Microsoft ERP systems focusing on Commodity Trading.
On a more personal note I live in Rotterdam, I am married with 3 grown-up children and divide my free time between cycling and playing guitar in a band.
