Centre of International Affairs
With approximately 30 staff members within the Centre of International Affairs (CoIA), our goal is to inform national and international prospective students about the full degree and the exchange programmes of Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. More specifically, we aim to advise and inform prospective international students about studying in the Netherlands, Rotterdam, RBS and at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. Our marketing efforts are a balance of offline and online diverse activities.
Position
This unique and exciting opportunity will suit an ambitious, enthusiastic individual. You will work closely with the International Marketing & Study Advice department, as well as the other teams under the CoIA organisation. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to excel and put into practice their skills, take ownership of different projects and be part of our overall marketing plan. As our Student Ambassador, you will represent our university and act as a liaison between the university and prospective students, their families, and the community

Responsibilities
We are looking for new Student Ambassadors with a native or near-native level of English to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for offline but mostly online marketing activities.
- Create engaging content (text, image, and video) for social media posts such as reels, TikTok, UGC and videos.
- Provide excellent customer service while communicating with potential students via email, chat, social media or face-to-face.
- Conduct and manage campus student tours for prospective students and their families.
- Share your personal experience as a university student and help RUAS students around the university.
- Participate in photoshoots and other university promotional purposes.
Organise and support events in association with CoIA. - Assist with project management, scheduling, and presentations related to student information sessions.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in our full-time International Business programme and will be a second-year international student as of 1st of September 2025
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- Experienced in using social media for content creation, with a strong understanding of platforms like Instagram, TikTok.
- Passionate about marketing and digital content creation, with the ability to produce engaging posts, reels, and videos.
- Comfortable being both behind and in front of the camera, presenting content and representing the university.
- Can adapt to fast-paced environments, able to stay calm and adaptable under pressure.
- Flexibility to work on various tasks and hours during the week.
- Determined & enthusiastic with a positive attitude.
- Team player, self-motivated and proactive (we work in self-steering teams).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple projects
Conditions
You will be working a set amount of hours per week on a prior agreed day and time each week, geared to your study schedule. This makes it possible to combine this position with your studies. Further employment conditions will be discussed during the interview.
