    Kimberly Wu

    Principal Lecturer & Senior Researcher

Kimberly’s background and experience lie in maritime logistics, with a focus on ports and terminals. After receiving her Master titles in Port Engineering and Maritime Economics & Logistics, she worked as a container terminal operator before pursuing her PhD at Faculty of Mechanical, Material, and Maritime Engineering from Delft University of Technology. Her research is titled “A large-scale biomass bulk terminal”. Afterward, she spent 10+ years as a principal consultant and project manager working at a consultancy firm, being involved in projects all over the world. She specialize in dry bulk, general cargo and multi-purpose terminals: layout design and machinery, handling and storage, process improvement, dynamic simulations, and material handling.
