Contents

The four main themes of this knowledge bank are:

  • The emancipation process and the social position of various social groups including lesbians, gay, bisexual, transgender individuals, women, ethnic and religious minorities, the elderly, and people with a handicap.
  • Social issues that are associated with different forms of diversity such as ethnic diversity, gender diversity, and sexual diversity.
  • Discrimination or disadvantage based on among other things one’s background, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender, handicap or chronic illness, and age.
  • The approach and fight against exclusion, and disadvantages by means of policy or
    concrete practices.

Descriptions include links to full-text, media files, or the website of the publishers.
