International Business and Management Studies (IBMS) is a broad study programme covering all aspects of business and management.
The profile of the programme is based on 'competencies'. Competencies are more than just knowledge: a student does not only need to have knowledge of separate subjects but must also be able to manage corporate processes. It is the combination of these two aspects, knowledge and its practical application, which is called a competency.
IBMS prepares students for professional careers in international companies. Based on a combination of elements from the fields of marketing, sales, finance, and management, the programme has a special focus on international trade and commerce.
The IBMS graduate is aware of international economic developments and the effects they have on the international organization. The IBMS graduate is competent in intercultural leadership, analysis, creative problem solving, and planning.
If you attend one of the partner universities, you can enroll in the IBMS exchange programme.
Depending on your university, you can choose an exchange programme for half a year (starting in September or February) or for one year (starting in September). You must complete minimum 24 ECTS and maximum 32 ECTS per semester.
