Welcome, great that you have registered at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences! The library is one of the support services that helps you with your studies. We have a lot of (online) information to offer you and we are also happy to show you how to find it. We do this both online and from our locations.

E-books? Looking for help? "If only we had known that earlier" we hear regularly from senior students. But now you have no excuse: below you will find the most important parts or our services. Just scroll through it!

At "Information sources per study programme" you will find the sources that are relevant to your study programme. Databases, web links and your book list with links to START - see below. If they are available as an e-book, you can read them immediately, otherwise you can borrow or reserve them at the library.

Yes, we have books as well! Free to borrow for RUAS students. But how and where can you borrow them? How long can you keep them? Where do you return them? Does the library police still exist? You wake up bathed in sweat... Fortunately, we have listed all the information for you.

With our 'STudy And Research Tool' you can find almost all books, journals, databases and scientific articles in our collection. You can also reserve and renew books and request articles from other libraries.

Library Access will notify you if articles or e-books are available at the library. This makes it easier to get hold of the full-text of scientific articles. It also makes logging into databases easier. So install this extension in your web browser ASAP!

Studying is investing in yourself, so you'll want to make use of all the facilities. But how do you make optimal use of the library? We explain it in this online introduction. Everything clear? Then test yourself (optional) with a test. And you can earn an edubadge as well!

We have several locations where you can study in peace. You can currently visit the study spaces of Academieplein and Museumpark. In 2023 you can also go to the new library at Kralingse Zoom!
