Borrowing and returning books

Want to borrow a book? Make a reservation first!
  • For the moment it's not possible to take books of the shelves by yourself. The rooms where the books are located are closed off. When you want to borrow books, you'll have to reserve them via START.
  • Books can be returned at any location during opening hours. At location Academieplein and Museumpark you can use the book drop even when the library is closed.
  • You can extend you loan period period at home with START.
  • Dont have a Rotterdam University pass (yet)? You can also use the "Hogeschool Rotterdam app", or My RUAS to identify yourself at the selfservice. Go to "Profile" -> "Borrow at the library" and use the QR code.
