Students from the Dutch Antilles get acquainted with Rotterdam

On Thursday 31 July a new group of students (70 in total) from the Dutch Antilles were welcomed by the Mayor of Rotterdam, Mr. Aboutaleb. The students will study at HogeschoolRotterdam, Erasmus University or Zadkine College and get acquainted with Rotterdam during the introduction days for students from the Dutch Antilles.

Busidays 2014

The School of Commercial Management Studies of Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences (Hogeschool Rotterdam) organized their yearly Busidays from the 16th of March until the 19th of March 2014. In total, 28 students from the Netherlands and Belgium took part in this event.

International Project: The role of responsible business practice in enhancing the competitiveness of SME's

Four teams of students and lecturers, representing Rotterdam Business School, ISM Vilnius, NEOMA Business School and the Faculty of Economics & Business: University of Zagreb have initiated a European-funded Intensive Programme to explore the benefits of responsible business practice for European SMEs in terms of their competitiveness and overall performance within the internationalisation context of SMEs (REBUSME).

Successful pre-master pitching event

Tuesday 25 February saw a number of external companies and the RBS Knowledge Centre present themselves to 2 classes of Pre-Master students. The companies and organisations; Prestige Group, U.S Commercial Service (Embassy of the United States of America), European Creative Business Network, and RBS Knowledge Centre brought with them projects for the students to consider taking on. In return, the students made pitches to the companies, promoting themselves, their expertise and their competences in a bid to win their business.

International students getting to know their new city

On 3 February a new group of international students arrived at Rotterdam Business School (RBS). Both exchange students coming from our partner universities around the world and full-time RBS students were received by the Global Recruitment & Student Support office for a fun introduction week. Over 80 students attended the introduction workshop and the city tour through Rotterdam to help them get to know their new city.
